IT industry leaders and practitioners participated in a 3-day conference from July 14-17, 2008 in Ho Chin Minh City, Vietnam aimed at creating greater customer awareness towards network-powered business IT platforms.

Dubbed as Accelerate ’08 Riverbed Performance Summit, the event was highlighted by presentations of highly-regarded IT professionals from around the globe, particularly on wide-area data services (WDS). Experts have recognized the benefits to be derived out of WDS in terms of improving performance and success of game-changing technologies such as virtualization, software as service and network-attached storage.

Riverbed Technology Chairman and CEO Jerry Kennelly said the Conference is aimed at allowing practitioners “help customers to create a more intelligent network-powered business IT platform that allows them to obliterate the cost and inefficiency caused by distance.
